1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Day Dose ("the App"), developed and maintained by Adhnan Shereef T ("I", "me", "the developer"), handles information in connection with your use of the App. This policy applies to the Day Dose application available on Google Play and any associated website.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

2. Data stored on your device

Day Dose stores the following information exclusively on your device, using local storage. This data is never transmitted to any server, never uploaded to the cloud, and is not accessible to me or any third party.

• Profile names and relation types you create within the App
• Medicine names, dosage quantities, schedules, and notes you enter
• Meal times you configure for each profile
• Dose history records (taken, missed, snoozed) used for your personal analytics
• App preferences such as your chosen language and display theme

This data exists solely on your device and is removed if you uninstall the App or clear its data through your device settings. I have no ability to recover it on your behalf.

3. App usage analytics

To understand how people use Day Dose and to identify areas for improvement, the App collects anonymous, aggregated usage data through a third-party analytics service. This is limited strictly to how users interact with the App's interface — for example, which screens are visited and how often — and is used only to improve the App's design and functionality.

This analytics data:

• Does not include any medicine names, profile names, dosage information, or any health-related content
• Does not identify you as an individual
• Does not track your location
• Does not run in the background when the App is not open
• Cannot be linked back to you personally

You may opt out of this analytics collection at any time through the App's settings. Opting out has no effect on the App's core functionality.

4. What we do not collect

To be explicit about what Day Dose does not do:

• We do not require or create user accounts
• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• We do not collect or transmit medicine names, doses, schedules, or any health data
• We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or files
• We do not track your location at any time
• We do not run background processes for surveillance or data collection
• We do not display advertisements
• We do not build a profile of you or your household
• We do not share any information with advertisers or data brokers

5. Third parties

Day Dose uses one third-party service:

• Analytics service — collects anonymous, aggregated usage data as described in Section 3. This service does not receive any personal information or health-related data.

No other third-party services, SDKs, advertising networks, or data-sharing integrations are present in the App. Your health information is never shared with anyone, for any purpose.

The App may in the future include optional cloud sync features. If and when such features are introduced, this policy will be updated and you will be clearly informed before any data leaves your device. Participation would be entirely opt-in.

6. Children's privacy

Day Dose is designed to be used by people of all ages, including for managing medicines for children within a family setting. Because the App does not collect personal information from any user, it does not collect personal information from children either.

Parents and guardians may use the App to manage medicine profiles on behalf of their children. All data related to those profiles is stored exclusively on the device and is not transmitted anywhere.

7. Your rights

Because Day Dose does not collect personal data that is transmitted off your device, the typical rights frameworks (such as GDPR in Europe, or similar legislation in other jurisdictions) largely do not apply in the traditional sense. All your data is under your direct control.

You can:

• Access and edit all your data directly within the App at any time
• Delete individual profiles, medicines, or dose history from within the App
• Delete everything by uninstalling the App or clearing its data in your device settings

8. Changes to this policy

If this Privacy Policy changes in a material way — for example, if new data practices are introduced — the updated policy will be published at this URL and the effective date will be updated. Significant changes will also be communicated within the App.

Continued use of the App after a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. I encourage you to review this policy periodically.
